It is important to practice proper lifting techniques when you’re required to do any lifting in the workplace. We’ve put together an infographic based on the steps outlined on the Mayo Clinic website for successfully lifting any object.
No matter how heavy an object is it is important to lift each object properly. Failure to do so can result in injury. Whether this is immediate injury due to the nature of the object or injuries to your body over time due to improper lifting, it is important to avoid these possibilities by always practicing proper lifting techniques.
