We are looking for an experienced Warehouse Team Lead to join our client’s team in Mississauga, ON.
Previous experience operating the Counterbalance and Crown Double Deep Reach forklifts as well as previous Team Lead/Lead Hand experience in a warehouse are required for this job.
Shift: Day shifts, 6:30am start time, Monday-Friday
Pay: $24.30/hour
Your Responsibilities as a Team Lead:
– Assist warehouse Supervisor and shipping/receiving technician in daily tasks
– Coordinate workload to ensure completion of order to meet delivery dates and customer requirements
– Oversee special projects
– Ensure compliance with and follow-up of operating procedures to achieve department objectives
– Adhere to health and safety procedures and regulations
– Ensure safe product storage and handling
– Other duties as required
Qualifications:
– Experience in a similar Team Lead role within the Warehousing/Transportation industry
– Valid forklift license
– Counterbalance and Crown Reach (Double Deep) forklift operating experience
– Strong leadership/team spirit skills
– Able to recognize and address safety concerns
– Strong time management/prioritizing skills
– Strong computer skills
– Punctual/takes initiative
– Ability to stand for a long period of time
– Knowledge of controlled goods (an asset)
– Able to work Monday to Friday on the day shift in Mississauga
