We are seeking a dynamic, safety-conscious Warehouse Supervisor to lead warehouse operations for a Logistics company located in Mississauga, ON.
Salary: $65,000-70,000/year
Schedule: Afternoon shifts
Responsibilities Include:
– Supervising warehouse staff and providing guidance on operational tasks
– Ensuring the safety and well-being of all warehouse personnel by enforcing safety standards and best practices
– Monitoring inventory levels, assisting with stock control, and coordinating shipments as necessary
– Overseeing the efficient use of warehouse space, ensuring proper organization of materials and products
– Handling daily operational tasks, including quality control, order fulfillment, and product handling
– Ensuring proper documentation and record-keeping related to inventory, shipments, and deliveries
– Resolving operational challenges in a timely and effective manner
– Fostering a collaborative and productive work environment, addressing any team concerns
– Other duties as required
Qualifications:
– Previous work experience in Warehouse Supervisor position within the Transportation/Logistics/Supply Chain industry
– Strong understanding of warehouse environments, logistics, and supply chain processes
– Strong experience with WMS
– Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a diverse team in a fast-paced setting
– Strong safety awareness and a commitment to maintaining a safe working environment
– Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
– Able to lift and move heavy materials as needed
– Able to work Monday to Friday on the afternoon shift in Mississauga, ON
