We are seeking an experienced Forklift Operator to join our client’s team in Mississauga, ON.
Previous experience operating Counterbalance AND Reach forklifts is required for this job.
Shift: 8:00am-4:30pm Monday-Friday
Pay: $23.00/hour
Responsibilities:
– Operating the manual pallet jack, Doosan Reach and Counterbalance forklifts to move and store freight (4 level high racking)
– Maintaining warehouse equipment by enforcing instructions, troubleshooting breakdowns, and calling for repairs
– Updating courier system to process orders/confirm shipping/arrange pickups
– Maintaining, scheduling, storing, and dispatching inventory as well as conducting inventory checks
– Training temporary staff as needed
– Other duties as required
Qualifications:
– Previous work experience operating Reach and Counterbalance forklifts
– Thorough understanding of warehouse operations and logistics
– Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
– Able to lift up to 30lbs
– High attention to detail
– Organized
– Good computer skills
– Good leadership skills
