We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to join our client’s team at their facility in Brockville, ON.
A minimum of 5 years of previous work experience in a similar Operations Management role within the LTL Transportation industry is required for this position.
Salary: $70,000-75,000/year
Responsibilities:
– Directing/coordinating the daily operations to provide quality service to customers
– Communicating with dispatch and dock to coordinate movement of trailers and freight, ensuring orders are delivered in a timely manner
– Coordinating with customers to ensure their needs are met, investigating and resolving complaints and issues
– Interviewing and training of new personnel
– Preparing the budget and analysis of company KPIs to increase profits and improve processes
– Enforcing company policies and procedures, safety and government regulations
– Other duties as required
Qualifications:
– Minimum 5 years’ of Operations management experience within the LTL Transportation industry
– Experience working with dispatch and dock personnel
– Proven leadership skills and the ability to build a team, fostering a positive work environment through coaching and mentoring
– Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)
– Strong organizational skills as well as analytic and planning skills
– Able to work full-time in Brockville, Ontario
