We are looking for experienced Forklift Operators to join our client’s team in Mississauga, ON.
These jobs will require you to work in a FREEZER WAREHOUSE (-18C to -25C) and COOLER DOCK (2C to 5C). Insulated PPE clothing will be provided.
Previous experience operating Reach and extended Walkie forklifts, valid forklift and Fall Arrest Certification, and experience working in a Freezer environment are required.
Two Shifts Available:
– Days, 7:00am to 3:30pm Monday-Friday
– Afternoons, 3:30pm to 12:00am Monday-Friday
Training will be on the day shift
Pay:
– Day shift: $24.00/hour
– Afternoon shift: $24.50/hour
Incentive pay of an additional $2.50/hour or up to $100/week may be available based on achieving company targets and guidelines.
Responsibilities:
Using Swing Reach, ride-on Walkie with extended forks, and Dock Stocker forklifts to move freight within the warehouse (5 level high racking), doing case picking (lifting up to 50 lbs), RF Scanning, and other duties as required.
Qualifications:
– Minimum of 1 year of experience operating the Swing Reach Turret Truck and ride-on Walkie
– Valid forklift certification
– Valid Fall arrest certification
– Previous experience working in a freezer warehouse or similar freezer environment
– Comfortable with lifting up to 50lbs
– Able to work Monday to Friday in Mississauga on one of the shifts listed above
