We are currently seeking Counterbalance Forklift Operators to join the team of a Transportation company in Mississauga, ON.
Please Note: the dock in this facility is temperature controlled. You must be comfortable working in refrigerated and freezer environments and wear warm clothes.
Pay: Up to $24.00/hour
Two Shifts Available:
– Afternoons, 4:00pm-12:30am Monday-Friday
– Nights, 11:00pm-7:30am Monday-Friday
Responsibilities: Operating an electric Counterbalance forklift to move/load/unload freight, hand-bombing freight, and other duties as required in dry, cooler, and freezer areas of the dock facility.
Qualifications:
– Valid Forklift license
– Experience Operating the electric Counterbalance forklift
– Comfortable with manual lifting 40-50lbs
– Able to work in cold temperatures in refrigerated and freezer environments
– Able to work Monday to Friday on one of the shifts above
– High attention to detail
– Must have warm clothes (hats, gloves etc) and wear layers of clothes
– Must wear safety shoes and safety vest
