We are currently seeking an experienced Counterbalance Forklift Operator to work as a Shipping/Receiving Clerk with our client in Mississauga, ON.
Pay: $25.00/hour
Shift: 6:00am-2:30pm plus overtime hours
Responsibilities:
– Operating the Counterbalance forklift to move cargo and load/unload different sizes of wood (i.e. 16′ lengths of lumber) and wood crates to/from trucks & flatbeds
– Entering & updating the system (WMS) with orders and warehouse activity
– Communicating with drivers, customers, and warehouse personnel
– Other warehouse duties as assigned
Qualifications:
– Valid forklift license
– Previous experience operating the Counterbalance forklift in a warehouse or similar facility
– Experience handling large products with a forklift
– Comfortable operating the forklift in tight spaces
– Comfortable working in a busy facility
– High attention to detail
– Strong communication skills
– Able to work overtime as needed
– Able to work Monday-Friday on the day shift
