We are seeking an experienced Forklift Operator to work for our client in Mississauga, ON.
We are looking for candidates with experience operating the Counterbalance forklift, Reach forklift, and manual Pallet Jack.
Shift: Day shifts, 8:00am start time, Monday-Friday
Pay: $23.00/hour
Responsibilities:
– Operating manual pallet jack, Doosan Reach, and Counterbalance forklifts to move and store freight (4 level high racking)
– Using courier system to process orders and confirm shipping with UPS, Purolator, Canada Post, etc
– Organizing and scheduling receipt, storage, and dispatch of inventory
– Maintaining inventory and supplies by transferring items, inputting data, and counting when stocks need replenishment
– Supporting and participating in monthly warehouse counts and inventory checks
– Keeping warehouse equipment operational by enforcing instructions, troubleshooting breakdowns, and calling for repairs
– Training temporary staff on tasks needing completion
– Other duties as required
Qualifications:
– Previous work experience operating manual pallet jack, Reach, and Counterbalance forklift
– Thorough understanding of warehouse operations and logistics
– Able to lift up to 30lbs
– Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
– Good computer skills
– Strong leadership skills
– High attention to detail
