We are looking for an experienced Customer Service Manager to lead the team of approximately 25 Customer Service Representatives at a Transportation company in Mississauga, ON.
This is a direct hire position – you will be hired on by our client.
A minimum of 5 years of work experience in a similar role within the Transportation/Logistics company is required.
Salary: $80,000-90,000/year base salary
– 3 weeks vacation prorated for the first year
Shift: Day shifts – must be flexible depending on the needs of the business
Responsibilities:
– Recruit, train, and lead a Customer Service Team to ensure top tier support, timely problem resolution, and consistent service quality
– Conduct performance reviews, performance reports, and track KPIs/service metrics
– Develop and implement policies, procedures, and improvements
– Develop internal communication channels to ensure alignment and coordinate resolutions with various teams
– Serve as an escalation point when needed for complex issues
– Other duties as required
Qualifications:
– Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field (preferred)
– Strong previous experience in a Customer Service leadership role within the Transportation/Logistics industry (minimum 5 years)
– Strong understanding of LTL/cross-border freight operations
– Exceptional leadership skills
– Experience with Transportation Management Systems (TMS)
– Experience with CRM tools
– Strong Microsoft Office experience
– Exceptional written and verbal communications skills
– Excellent problem solving and decision-making skills
– Strong data analysis skills
– Excellent ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
