We are looking for a Cleaner/Maintenance Clerk to join our client’s team at their warehouse facility in Mississauga, ON.
Previous forklift operating experience and cleaning/maintenance experience are required for this job.
Pay: Up to $24.00/hour
Shift: 6:00/7:00am to 2:30/3:30pm Monday-Friday
Responsibilities:
– Cleaning the warehouse/work areas/washrooms/lunchroom (sweeping, mopping, cleaning spills, emptying garbages, pest control, etc)
– Performing minor repairs/painting/patching/replacing lightbulbs, filters
– Assisting with basic building maintenance
– Keeping warehouse/outside areas free of debris
– Maintaining cleaning supplies/equipment
– Reporting larger repairs/safety concerns to management
– Other duties as required
Qualifications:
– Experience in maintenance/cleaning
– Valid forklift license
– Experience operating the Counterbalance forklift
– Basic knowledge of hand tools and cleaning equipment
– Comfortable doing manual work/able to lift and move cleaning supplies/equipment
– High attention to detail/cleanliness
– Able to work independently
– Safety-conscious
– Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
