We are looking for an experienced Billing Specialist to join our client’s team in Brampton, ON.
Salary: $50,000/year
Shift: 8:00am-4:00pm or 9:00am-5:00pm Monday-Friday
Responsibilities:
– Provide exceptional customer service to customers, advising customers of shipment status and obtaining information
– Communicate with shippers/carriers to obtain shipment information, negotiate rates, and arrange pickup and delivery of orders
– Update shipment events and enter billing information in system
– Generate and retrieve invoices for accounting
– Audit files and carrier invoices
– Other duties as required
Qualifications:
– Previous experience in Group Freight operations (minimum 2 years)
– Strong knowledge of Ground Freight billing requirements
– Strong computer skills (MS Office – Word, Excel, etc)
– Excellent Customer Service skills
– Excellent English communication skills (written and verbal)
– High attention to detail
– Strong ability to multi-task/strong organizational skills
– Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
– Able to work independently or as a team in a fast-paced environment
