We are seeking an experienced Lead Hand to lead our client’s day shift team in Halton Hills, ON.
Previous experience operating Counterbalance forklift and experience as a Lead Hand in a Transportation/Logistics facility are required for this role.
Schedule: Day shifts (must be flexible with start time) Monday-Friday
Pay: $27.00/hour
Responsibilities:
– Supervising team members, assigning tasks, providing guidance/training
– Assisting on inbound and outbound loads (working with glass bottles/alcohol)
– Operating the Counterbalance forklift
– Other duties as required
Qualifications:
– Valid forklift license
– Experience operating Counterbalance forklift
– Experience as a Lead Hand
– Experience within the Warehousing industry and strong knowledge of warehouse functions
– Good communication skills (written and verbal)
– Strong leadership skills
– Able to solve problems effectively
– Comfortable standing/walking for long periods of time
– Comfortable working with alcohol
– Able to work in Halton Hills
